Save the Dates for our 50th reunion, October 13 & 14, 2017
Friday, October 13th Meet & Greet @ Nick & Jimmy's Bar & Grill 5 to 8 PM - 4956 Monroe St. near Franklin Park Mall. Meet & Greet will be pay as you go for food and beverages.
Saturday, October 14th, we will all gather for our 50th Reunion @ Shorty's Back Forty 5111 Monroe St. (also near Franklin Park Mall) 6 to 11 PM. Saturday Night Reunion cost will be $40/Person. This will be for a unlimited buffet of pulled pork, BBQ chicken, 2 hot sides, & 2 cold sides also included will be a class of '67 donation to the Start Scholarship Funds. Make checks payable to SHS Class of '67. Mail checks to: Denise Woodie Dunwald, 4030 Briarcrest, Toledo, OH 43623 by September 14, 2017. The price will increase to $50 after September 14, 2017.
The Reunion Committee is preparing a video/slide show of photos from past reunions and personal collections of high school days. Any one who has photos or videos they would like to share please send scanned photos to Nadine Thomas Dukeshire at gousabucks@bex.net as soon as possible.
A navigation link has been set up on the startclassof67.com website to allow you to register if you plan to attend. We know it is 9 months away, so if you are a maybe and not sure yet, please use the Message Center to send a note so we can track our maybes.
When you click on the “50 Year Reunion” navigation link, it will take you to the registration window. Just follow the steps, then submit and you will be all set. If you would like to see who has already registered, you can go to the Classmates Profiles link to go to a class listing. Then click on the dot next to the Gold 50 and you will see the classmates that have already registered.
ROOMS: A block of 15 rooms has been reserved at the Wingate by Wyndham Motel, 5480 Main St., Sylvania, OH at a special rate of $124.00/night for a King or Double beds. Free parking and free breakfast are included. Call Linda at 419-517-2000 to make reservations. Be sure to request the Start High School Reunion Rate when you call. Reservations must be made no later than September 12, 2017 to receive the discount. The Wingate is within walking distance of downtown Sylvania where there are shops, restaurants, and local artist displays.
