Christine Pomeroy (Lloyd)

I am devastated to learn that my lifelong friend and second cousin has passed. We were in touch throughout the years, living close by and attending the same Toledo schools, and staying in contact as we each ventured out of Ohio. I will miss greatly her presence in this world.

Sue was my BFF in High School and we kept in touch as we went our separate ways after graduation. So many memories of "Y" dances, sleepovers, sock hops, Peris, long talks, Mrs. Kitaj's English class antics, passing notes as we changed classes....so many. I affectionately called her "Ear". She was a hard worker and raised her 2 sons as a single mom. My heart is broken. Rest in peace, dear Sue.

Sue was so smart and always fun. We went to Whittier together and one summer day, bored to tears, my mom suggested I call a friend from school to hang out. Though we weren't close, I thought of Sue and knew she would liven things up. We had so much fun that summer and I always enjoyed our friendship through our Start years. Rest in Peace Sue.

I was a real nerd in grade school 🏫.In spite of
that, Sue was always nice to me.

Sue was a very special person. Sweet, funny, smart, trusting. She normally responded to recent texts and didn't so went on her Facebook page and saw that Sue had passed. Not a good way to find out. Broke my heart. I take comfort knowing she is in Heaven and healthy. God Bless, Sue! 😘🙏
