Karen Sue Hrabosky-East

Karen Sue Hrabosky-East, age 68, of Melbourne Village, FL died unexpectedly Friday, February 2, 2018 at her home. She was born November 25, 1949 in Toledo, OH to her parents, Paul and Evelyn Hrabosky. Karen grew up in Toledo, graduating from Roy C. Start High School in 1967 and later attending the University of Toledo.

She later moved to Florida in 1993 and along with her husband, Jim, co-founded Concrete Designs of Florida, which she would own and operate for 25 years, working alongside Jim and later her two sons, Paul and Eric. During her free time, she loved meeting with neighborhood friends, talking politics, and going to the beach whenever she could. Karen also traveled extensively throughout America and Europe, using those trips to connect with family and friends and also pursue another one of her passions: historical research for her family tree. She collected centuries of records for her and Jim's ancestors, preserving a testament of her love of family for generations to come.

She leaves behind her loving husband, Jim East; her sister, Barb (Craig) Cornachione; two sons, Paul Rance (Sandy) and Eric Rance (Shelley); children-in-law, Scott East (Tonia) and Cassandra Davie; grandchildren, Michael Rance, Shelby Darling, Jessica Wasielewski and Jonathon McCormack; dozens of family members here and abroad, and many dear friends.
